Abstract

The basic characteristics and measurement principle of the space coordinate electronic measurement system (ECDS3 system) are introduced, the measurement practice of the size and position tolerance of large components in the railway locomotive manufacturing industry is explained, and the measurement accuracy is analyzed, explaining the superiority and important role of the system in the precision measurement of large locomotive components.
